You can use the Tasks API to interact with tasks within Workfront.
Following are some examples of the most common ways of interacting with tasks through the API:
- Get task data from Workfront to use with a third-party application. This can include parameterValues or custom data.
- Update existing information regarding the task, including custom data and custom forms.
- Evaluate user availability by checking current task assignments and hours.
- Check the status of approvals.
- Track hours worked for billing purposes.
Please Note: This site is currently in beta testing and the sandbox features of the UI are not yet functional, but should be available soon.
