You can use the Tasks API to interact with tasks within Workfront.

Following are some examples of the most common ways of interacting with tasks through the API:

  • Get task data from Workfront to use with a third-party application. This can include parameterValues or custom data.
  • Update existing information regarding the task, including custom data and custom forms.
  • Evaluate user availability by checking current task assignments and hours.
  • Check the status of approvals.
  • Track hours worked for billing purposes.
